Over the last two weeks the Police Department has seen random reports of late evening explosions and on 11/15/13 we received a couple of reports of mailboxes destroyed by explosions on Putnam Rd, Rosewood Av and recovered some fireworks near a mailbox on Shawsheen Rd.  These are “commercial-grade” fireworks that people typically buy in stores in New Hampshire for the Fourth of July. Another incident may have occurred on Corthell Av around the same time frame but was not reported to the Police Department. On Putnam a neighboring home sustained damage from flying debris. Most of these vandalisms and explosions are occurring around midnight.
