Billerica –On December 17 Officer Don Boulette responded to the Villa’s at 5 Riverhurst Road, on a report of packages being stolen from the vestibule. The resident reported that FedEx had delivered the items on December 16 and when she went to retrieve the packages on the morning of the 17th they were missing. The next day a second resident called and reported her packages were also missing which had also been left in the same vestibule. Detective Sgt Frank Mirasolo and Detective Rick Nestor received information the missing items were listed on Craigslist and EBay for sale. The detectives made bids on the items which ultimately were accepted. A meeting place was then selected on the Middlesex Turnpike on the evening of December 18th to make the exchange. The suspect, Kerry Donovan age 38, arrived at the agreed location with all the items that had been stolen, at which time the detectives identified themselves and took possession of the stolen packages. Kerry Donovan is being charged with 2 counts of Larceny from a Building.
