Narcotic Arrest
Billerica – This past fall, the East Bridgewater Police Department contacted Billerica PD with intelligence pertaining to the distribution of marijuana by a resident of Billerica. The resident, Glenn Corbett, was alleged to be involved in receiving multi-pound packages of marijuana that were being shipped to various locations in the East Bridgewater area and subsequently returned to Billerica. On December 30, 2014, the East Bridgewater Police arrested Mr. Corbett in their town with a package containing approximately 9 pounds of marijuana. Immediately following his arrest, the East Bridgewater Police Department, with the assistance of the Billerica Police Narcotics Unit, executed a search warrant at Mr. Corbett’s home, located at #53 Baldwin Road, Unit 1502, Billerica, MA. Found in the search was approximately one and half pounds of Marijuana and $140,000 in cash.
Mr. Corbett will be arraigned in Brockton District Court on December 31, 2014 for Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana and face similar charges in Lowell District Court for possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute for contraband located at his home in Billerica. Of note, these are allegations and Glenn Corbett is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
