CodeRED call launched at 1:45pm – The Police Department received a 911 call approximately 1 hour ago (1230pm) from the 30 block of Maplewood Av. reporting the break in of an occupied home. The occupant reported that the suspect was a tall slender male wearing dark pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt a mask and was armed with a knife.  The suspect immediately fled the residence according to the caller.  Officers and a K9 have searched the immediate area with negative results and we have no further information to share at this time.  The Dutile School is sheltered in place at this time and will conduct a controlled release this afternoon.  School officials will be in touch with parents via their messenger system.
