National Night Out 2017
The Billerica Police Department will be celebrating National Night Out on August 1, 2017 from 5 to 9 PM at Billerica Town Hall.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighbors safer, better places to live. It provides an opportunity for our Men and Women in Blue to build relationships with our citizens. We will be partnering with the Billerica Recreation department who will be sponsoring Concerts on the Common with 4Ever Fab-Beatles tribute band. Lynnway Auto Auction is sponsoring Balloon twister/ Juggler Steve and Magician Joe Ferranti who will be strolling around the event to entertain you.
We are proud to announce the following organizations that will be participating:
- Billerica Police, Paramedic, Fire, Animal Control, and Public Works departments will have various vehicles on display.
- Billerica K-9 team will be conducting demonstrations in conjunction with other Law Enforcement agencies
- Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC) and the Middlesex County House of Correction will display SWAT armored vehicle
- Correction will display SWAT armored vehicle
- U.S. Army National Guard 972nd Military Police Company
- Massachusetts National Guard will be displaying Military vehicles
- Dracut Road Runners car club will have several antique cars on display
- Billerica Recreation department will have various games to play
- The Billerica Police Honor Guard “GRILL TEAM” will have Burgers and Hot dogs for purchase. Money raised is used for purchasing equipment and uniforms for the Honor Guard members.
