Yesterday, a resident reported receiving phone calls from “Eastern Bank”. The call is automated and prompts the recipient to enter their account number. The resident doesn’t have an Eastern Bank account. It would seem that this is a robot dialer hoping to stumble upon an unsuspecting Eastern Bank customer. Please don’t fall for scams like this. Never release personal information to anyone who calls you unexpectedly.
