Stolen Motorcycle Arrest
On Thursday 9/8/11 at approximately 1:30 AM Patrolman Brian West was patrolling in the area of Alpine St. in North Billerica. Patrolman West observed a flashing headlight heading towards him. As he got closer he could see a man rolling a white motorcycle down the street while attempting to jump start it.
After ordering the individual to stop he observed the suspect wearing latex gloves and carrying multiple tools. Close inspection of the motorcycle revealed cut ignition wires. The suspect claimed he was fixing the bike for a friend. A check of the motorcycles registration confirmed it did not belong to the suspect and a call to the registered owner confirmed it was stolen. The owner had not even realized it was missing at the time of the call.
Anthony A Marchioni was placed under arrest and charged with the following:
- Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
- Operating a Motor Vehicle With a Suspended License
